The aim of the site is to provide a mechanism for people working within public services in Leicestershire and the City of Leicester to arrange shadowing opportunities with colleagues in other organisations. This is intended to support continuing professional development, the continued development and improvement of services and to support the exchange of good practice.

The site works by putting people who are looking for opportunities to see how other people in other organisations are tackling common problems in touch with colleagues who have experience they are willing to share.
In order for this approach to work people must be willing to offer these opportunities to others in return. We are looking for people to put themselves forward to offer shadowing opportunities.
The list of topics against which people can offer opportunities or find them can be developed in response to demand. You can communicate this through the feedback form.
Because we are offering this service across a range of organisations we cannot vet the shadowing opportunities offered nor can we guarantee the quality of the shadowing experience or the accuracy of any information gained.
